The space was cozy with a clean bathroom. I loved the musical evening. it was great to enjoy a live band without traveling after!

The location offers easy access to various attractions, making it convenient for exploring the area. The lively atmosphere from the pub below adds character, especially if you enjoy live music.
The room I stayed in featured a shared shower across a staircase, which wasn’t mentioned beforehand and felt inconvenient. Noise from the street below kept me awake at night, and the steep stairs to the rooms seem risky, especially if you're carrying luggage. The shower head didn’t stay in place, requiring some awkward one-handed maneuvering while washing, and the bed was uncomfortably soft and bouncy, disturbing sleep. Privacy was an issue as the window faced the street, making it necessary to keep the curtains drawn. there was no Wi-Fi in the rooms, and the TV had connectivity problems.

I found the room quite charming, with cozy furniture and a lovely atmosphere. The accessibility is decent, but those steep stairs could be tricky for seniors. The location's centrality to the town made exploring a breeze!
Steeper stairs would be challenging for seniors.

Perfect Stay for Solo Travelers Exploring Keswick!
I stayed for a night in a spacious room right above a bustling pub. Despite the late-night music, the lively atmosphere added to my experience. Two charming breakfast spots within a minute's walk made mornings delightful. A great base to explore the scenic Cumbrian countryside!

The room was small but laid out nicely with a chair and a clothes rack. The bed felt comfy for me, and the bathroom was really clean and well kept. I didn't hear any bar noise from downstairs, which was a plus. The guest entry was separate from the bar, so that was handy!

The grilled Teppanyaki fish at Brossen Steakhouse was an absolute showstopper—flaky, fresh, and perfectly seasoned! Plus, the location was spot on, just a hop away from the town centre. Oddfellows Arms served a mean pint, making their atmosphere a real treat.
We had a right kerfuffle when we discovered the bathroom was shared. The staircase was perilously steep, which made it a dodgy trek, especially for my pregnant wife. So, we decided to bail before the night, as it just didn't sit right with us.
